What does that mean? I get a thorough brief from you, so that I really get to know you, and then once you’ve added your copy, I look through and give you feedback, plus I make edits on the day to make it all sound and look stronger.
The Process
This is how we’ll move through from start to finish, so that you know exactly what’s coming next in the process.
Step One – Boring bits.
Step One – Boring bits.I send an invoice and contract. 50% of payment is due up front, with the rest due before the website is finished. You’ll get all the info you need sent over so that we can get started.
Step Two – Notion client portal
Step Two – Notion client portalI’ll set up a Notion client portal just for us, here we’ll share information and it makes the management of the project a hell of a lot easier babes. You’ll be able to easily see what you need to provide next in the process, and where we are up to with the project at any stage.
Step Three – Set Up & Briefing
Step Three – Set Up & BriefingThrough Notion and Whatsapp, we’ll talk about the goals for your new site, your competitors, what you love, what you don’t like at all, and this informs how we will structure your site to allow visitors to move through it seamlessly. Your copy is due before the next stage.
Step Four – The Primary Building Day
Step Four – The Primary Building DayWe’ll choose a day on the week of your website build as your PBD, you need to be available between 10am-5pm to answer questions. I design the home page first, and once you’re happy we move to the next stage.
Step Five – The Other Pages
Step Five – The Other PagesI design the rest of the pages and then ask you to log in and have a look at everything and get back to me with any changes. As we’re finishing up I’ll send you videos to show you how to use your new site.
Step Six – Launch time.
Step Six – Launch time.I’ll get your site prepped to launch and send you an invoice for the remainder of the payment. I can then transfer it over to your servers or redirect your domain for you before making it live or showing you how to if you’re not quite ready to launch. Woohoo!

How does the payment side work?
Investment is split into two payments, with a 50% deposit due before work commences and 50% before final files are transferred. If your start date is more than 2 months away you can pay a deposit of 20% and split the remainder into 2 payments
When can I start?
If you’re ready to go, please fill in the form here and I will get back to you with availability.
I’m usually booked a few months in advance, but can sometimes make exceptions.
How much work do I need to do?
You’ll need to fill out the brief and provide me with all copy and images, as well as all the login details I need etc. Don’t worry though I take you through each step.
Are there any other costs?
- WEB HOSTING – You will need web hosting – I recommend Siteground (affiliate link) for this. From £2.99/month.
- THEME – I will install a builder called Divi and you will not need to pay for that unless you would like to access the support system and lifetime updates. You can get a lifetime license for only $249. You will not need this straight away.
- DOMAIN NAME – You will need to buy your domain name, and get it set up with your web hosting. I can provide a guide on how to do this if you need it.
- TERMS – You can get privacy policies and terms and conditions online for very little cost or free but if you need something specialist you may need something more.
Why a short turnaround?
I don’t like stuff dragging on, and nor do my clients. And in the past, I know that’s been the case and nobody feels good about it. It’s not the experience I want for my clients, and I know that my own best work happens when I focus up.
If you’re a creative like me, you might find a short, sharp focused timeline helps to get the thing finished. So instead of a drawn out timeline, going back and forth, we keep it snappy, with a well thought out and designed process for you before hand so that I get every piece of information and copy that I need from you before I start.
So snappy the actual website build takes just one day, which is called your ‘primary building day.’ After that we have about a week for any small edits before making your site live.
Does this compromise the design?
No, it doesn’t compromise the design quality, but what it does do is allow less time for multiple choices and going back and forth. I am bringing my experience and expertise, to offer you my very best suggestions and design, which means there aren’t several rounds of edit or changes to the design. We choose the style, I design the home page, make minimal edits and go with that.
It doesn’t mean that I just do what I like with no input from you but it does mean that if you have a very specific vision of how your website should look then this is probably not for you.
This is not a ‘move it a bit over to the left’ style offer lol.
How much influence do I have over the design?
Don’t you worry, we’re going to create a website you love. As part of the process I’ll take you through web design styles that will allow you to choose a style for the website which I will base your site on.
This gives you the opportunity to choose something you love, whilst I make sure it looks good AND speaks to your audience.
I’m not a copywriter but I DO want to write my own copy, can you help?
One of the brilliant things about the fine-tuning of this offer is that I take you through the process of gathering your content and copy for the site.
Not only that, but I sprinkle my copy magic on top once I get to designing, to make it sound better! So if you can’t afford a copywriter, this is your next best option.
